Activism
The Twisst’s mission is to provide a platform for discourse around solely women’s issues. While the basic definition of feminism is the belief that all genders are entitled to the same rights and opportunities, our publication’s definition adds that feminism is also about exhibiting female accomplishment, opening up these opportunities to which feminism believes women are entitled, and celebrating the spectrum of female identity. The Twisst publication discusses women's issues in three main areas: The Nobles community (past and present), current events, and popular culture. Through opinion pieces and feature stories, The Twisst provides a platform for different perspectives to converge in one place.
