The Ethics Club aims to educate the Nobles community about a unique branch of knowledge dealing with moral principles and promote the process and practice of ethical decision making. Students are provided with the opportunity to compete in a regional competition, held at Tufts University, and potentially two National High School Ethics Bowls headquartered at the Parr Center for Ethics at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill and The Prindle Institute for Ethics at DePauw University. By attending these competitions, students will get to compete against other high schools within Massachusetts and across the U.S discussing real-life ethical dilemmas. The club encourages collaboration and teamwork, critical thinking, civil discourse, and competition of ideas. Students may also contribute to the Nobles Ethicist Newsletter, launched Spring of 2020, serving as either a staff writer or editor.
