Activism
EAC focuses on community education around issues of global and local environmental sustainability, resource use, and conservation. We also support a variety of local, national and global environmental organizations through raising awareness and often via fundraisers and volunteer work. In the past, EAC has hosted guest speakers who are conservationists and involved in environmental sustainability and recycling initiatives. Assembly presentations are also important to EAC's mission, regarding raising awareness of global issues as well as with regard to our collective responsibility to daily campus environmental stewardship.
